SETH m. Kempe's scholarship fund

Application
To be eligible to apply for Seth M Kempe's scholarship, the applicant shall:
be a member of the Forestry student´s union.
be a PhD student studying at the Faculty of Forest Sciences in Umeå.
be living in Västerbotten, Västernorrland or Norrbottens county.
The application must contain a completed application form and appendices in the following prescribed order:
Appendix 1. The applicant's CV.
Appendix 2. Proof of membership in the Student Union at the Forest Faculty (SHS)
The application must be sent by e-mail as a PDF file to the chairman of Student Union to: ordforande.shs@stud.slu.se. In subject, type "Scholarship Application S M Kempe". The PDF file should be named accordingly: lastname_department_date-of-birth, eg "Smith_VFM_820324". Decisions on applications are taken approximately one month after the last application date. For questions regarding the application or Seth M Kempe scholarship fund, please contact the chairman of SHS.
Report
A report must be submitted to the fund within three months after completion of the visit abroad. The report should not exceed an A4-page, describing how the expected outcome was met and the scientific value of the trip. A summary of the accounts of how the funds were dispensed should be attached to the report, as well as suitable documentation (such as a course syllabus, or conference program). Payment will be made to the applicant's institution who may request the funds once the report is received. If no satisfactory report is received or if the trip is covered by other funding, the scholarship may be withdrawn.
